Job Title: Grants Manager
Department: Administration & Finance
Responsible to: Chief Executive Officer
Official Duty Station: Majuro, Marshall Islands
Contract Term: 2-year with possibility of renewal
JOB PURPOSE
To assist the CEO and Management Team in administering and implementing the State
Tourism Grant’s Administration Plan (GAP) and other available grants at the OCIT, and
corresponding budget and timeline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the CEO and the Management Team to ensure successful implementation of the EDA State Tourism Grant’s Administration Plan (GAP) and corresponding budget and timeline;
Coordinating and assist respective Departments and their partners to execute activities
under the Economic Development Administration (EDA) State Tourism Grant’s GAP;
Formulating and submitting monthly reports to the CEO, which includes a summary of
work activities and financial activities;
Formulating the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework to ensure the success of all the
grants OCIT has and is to acquire;
Formulating Research and Development activities to ensure OCIT goes after the right
grants and look at ways to grow OCIT to ensure its vision and mission are accomplished;
Securing alternative funding sources to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of
activities under the EDA grant and General Fund;
Reviewing and controlling the overall financial performance of EDA State Tourism Grant
and other grants OCIT has and will have;
Assist in soliciting quotations, drafting contracts, preparing purchase requisitions,
reconciling financial activities monthly, and collaborating with all departments to ensure
compliance and accuracy of financial records for the EDA State Tourism Grant’s GAP and other grants OCIT has and will have; and
Accomplishes all other tasks as appropriately assigned or requested by the CEO
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting or related field
5-10 years work experience in a managerial/accounting post or related field
