Blue Oceans

Starting out as a logistics business, Blue Oceans has been instrumental in connecting local businesses with off-island renewable energy, electric scooters and electric vehicles suppliers and has coordinated logistics to import sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation alternatives into the Marshall Islands.
In response to increasing fuel and transportation costs locally, Blue Oceans is expanding into economical, sustainable public transportation which is a void unfilled by existing transportation providers. The business concept is to use Blue Ocean networks to import and sustain a 14-seater electric bus to be trialed as a pilot project primarily serving the local working class community that need affordable public transportation, and secondarily the tourism industry that have a need for environmentally-friendly, climate-conscious transportation alternatives and quality local tour guiding.
The electric bus will service the downtown/CBD area daily and provide tour services and shuttle services to the local tourist industry as needed and on weekends. It is envisioned that following the success of the pilot, additional electric buses can be added to the feet to support Ebeye community as well as focus more on the tourism sector.
